Just a quick note to say hi! Actually, I am trying to educate myself through this site to work through a situation where I tested positive icma 2 weeks post exposure with negative western blot. Read your journal, which was so helpful, but what causes false pos., if not an illness or autoimmune? They repeat it 2 0r 3 times. I tested non reactive with neg. pcr at 8 weeks. Docs say no further testing. Don't want to post on regular site, so as to not increase others anxiety. if you have time, please tell me what you think. My exposure was small amount of hiv pos. on large cut on lip which was not healed at all. Thank-you in advance. I have been told to move on, and am doing better, but that result lingers in mind despite all other neg. results.
