[More] Diagnosed in 1995, Class 1A, stage 2, grade 2 fibrosis
2002 - Treated with Interferon 1a (3 shots weekly) and Ribavirin
Non responder and taken off at week 32
Biopsy in 2006 - Stage 4, Stage 4 Cirrhosis
Viral Load 13,000,000
2008-009 Treated with Pegasus - Responder - completed 48 weeks
Dr. recommended 72 weeks but was denied additional 24 weeks by Trillium Drug Plan.
Detectible again after 1 month off treatment
Oct 11, 2011 Started treating with Triple VIC, Pegasus
(4 week lead in with 44 weeks Boceprevir and Pegasus - due to cirrhosis)
Viral Load at start: 7,800,000
Week 4 : Viral Load 3690 (3.3 log drop!!)
ALT 28 AST 38
Awaiting Week 6 Viral Load results - Starting Week 8.
Nice to hear from you. Yes, done with Tx on Aug. 25th. Now just waiting for the 12 week post EOT mark so I can see if I succeeded in wiping out this insidious little monster. Feeling better. Hope you are doing well.
