Hi Everyone!
My name is Patty, I'm 36, married to Scott (36) mother of Melissa (18), Andrew (11) and Brayden Levi (May 12, 2008).

Got pregnant with my daughter while still in high school 18 yrs ago. Turned 18, 4 days later had my daughter, a month and a half later Graduated High School, 6 days after that I got married. When my daughter was 2 we decided we wanted another baby. We tried and tired to no avail. We had test after test done on both of us and ended up with unexplained infertility! Then a few years later after giving up we ended up pregnant with my son! SURPRISE!!! By then, my husband and I had grown apart, but with the news of the new baby we tried to work things out. TRIED.... it didn't work! So we decided that we were going to get a divorce. Why stay together just for the sake of children when they would both be loved whether we were together or not and we would just be miserable! So we got a divorce when my son was 2. Then 4 years ago I met my current husband! He ABSOLUTELY adores my children and has none of his own. We (or should I say my husband) built us a Strawbale Home in the middle of 51 acres that we are still trying to develop! We got married Dec.31,2006! Then March 15, 2007 I had a tubal reversal. Got pregnant right away and found out we were due Jan 11, 2008! My husband finally got our house done and the big moving day came. YAY!! We were on cloud Nine!! We move in our new house and low and behold I lose the baby that night! I had had a cyst and a tubal and the cyst burst and I was bleeding internally. I had to have emergency surgery the very first night we were in our new house! I had lost so much blood that they gave me 2 blood transfusions and ended up with a collapsed lung and thought for sure I was dying. That all put me in the hospital for 5 days! Gosh that was a rough one! The doctor saved my tube! BLESS THAT MAN!!!!! He is truly the best!! Was told to wait for 2 cycles before we started again! When we got married we were so busy with work and working on the house that we never took a honeymoon or anything, so in August we went to Niagara Falls, Canada for our *late* honeymoon. We were there for several days, it was absolutely amazing! The weather couldn't have complimented the trip any more beautifully then it had that week!! Ahh!! It was absolutely gorgeous!! We get home, start back to work and school with the kids.. and find out we're pregnant!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! We are so excited!! There has been ups and downs don't get me wrong but in the end things are looking very upward!! My children are ecstatic! My husband is over joyed!! And I just feel so blessed and overwhelmed with all the excitement of having a new baby after 10 years, after my daughter turns 18 and after knowing that my husband is new to all this and is just going to be beside himself when Brayden does get here!! He thinks he's excited now!!!

I am here on Medhelp because like many there is times when I need support, love, understanding, and answers!! The one thing that has amazed me the most about this site and the wonderful people here is that many of us have gotten so close that now we share absolutely everything about our lives with one another!! It's great and I really appreciate everyone I have met here!!

In closing---- I would like to say congrats to those who have discovered that they are pregnant and good luck to those that are trying!! Never give up because miracles happen all the time whether we are trying to witness them or not!!

Just a quick note to say hi! Saw your mood. Are you ok???? It's been forever since we chatted, how are things? All is well here, I am completely consumed right now by this job, but I love it!! I bet he(Brayden) is the light of your life! He is so sweet. I actually have been feeling pretty good lately. Mornings are the roughest. I usually don't start getting sick until my 7th week, but for some reason I have had morning sickness for the past 3 days. And I am only 5 weeks today. I have a feeling its going to be a long 9 months.lol. Don't get me wrong, I love every minute of it. You take care and I will keep you posted. Hugz, Pamela

Thank You so much Patty. We are so excited. It seems like we have been ttc for a long time and I am almost a year older. I think we are almost around the same age, does it get any easier? my oldest daughter has been very helpful and she is so excited to be a big sister again. I have to say, Your son is absolutely adorable. I would love to have another boy. You take care and I wish you a Very Happy New Year!
