Thanks, RE: Crystalens..what a waste, wear glasses all the time! RE: Macular edema.. big problems. No treatments work, and I still have macular fluid now three years later. Vision is distorted, spotty, things look small, glassy, glarey..can't read at close up in affected eye at all and eye chart vision is slowly declining (20/20 ..20/40..20/50) Wish I could find a treatment for chronic macular edema, but seems there's none out there.
Thanks for your interest.
Hi Caren, Yes the word is Presbyopia and I do wear reading glasses. My problem seems fixed with the use of a contact in left eye now. I am curious I had retinal surgery 18 mos. ago and have now developed an mild ERM. I saw that you had IOL inserted a year ago and had a vitrectomy 4 mos. ago. how did you get the ERM. Cheers
Caren123 Thank you for your answer regarding the "floaters". Your described what I am seeing exactly. I feel relieved to hear from someone who went through it. Not that I didn't believe my doctor, but it is good to know from someone who has been through it. Thanks craftylym It has been four weeks, and I hope they go away soon. What a bother.
