Hi Cyndi, I wanted to let you know I appreciated your words of encouragement last week ... because the insurance won't pay for FloMax (at least for now!) it looks like self-cathing is going to be a way of life for me as well. You were absolutely right, it was no big deal, easy to accomplish and makes all the difference. I went to the mega-grocery with my husband yesterday and for the first time in years I didn't need to stop on the way in and/or out of the store to use their restroom. I actually made it almost 2 hours without the urge to go. Amazing. I didn't think to ask so I'm wondering if you have a clue - does self-cathing effect the natural ability to void the bladder with any sort of erroding of the muscles? I don't see the urogyno until January unless I have problems. Txs.

We're back to our normal weather. Today will get to about 70 and we have a nice, lazy rain. Those heat waves only happen a couple times a year, but mostly it is cool and rainy. We have a new kitten! Quix
