Hiya. I know the feeling of being an only child. I have one brother who is severely handicapped and who never lived at home so I was brought up really as an only child. Like you I want a houseful of children - I grew up watching the Waltons, lol. I haven't told my other children yet, I'm waiting till my first scan - it's a superstitious thing of mine that i don't tell anyone till I'm 12 weeks. After reading everyone's comments I'm really embracing this pregnancy now. Age is but a number :-) xx
Thank you for your lovely words on the forum and reassuring me that age is not a problem. Your words really touched me and you helped me see all the positives that being an older parent can bring, not to mention the older siblings. Thank you :)
