About Me: Female, 29, Minneapolis, MN, member since Aug 2009
I got really sick on July 9, 2009. I used to always only get sick when I had my period. I never knew it was a problem, but a CT Scan confirmed I had a huge cyst. One of my cysts ruptured and they had to do a laporotomy on me.
[More] I am not going to suffer in silence anymore. I have endometriosis.
I was a 'super aunt' too. I love being an aunt and was my sisters 'go to' person for years. You seem really close to your sister and your niece which is terrific! Hope the new job is going well. Have a good day!
Thank you for your post. I thought I was dealing with the pain and limitations ok but with these thoughts that this isn't real I'm starting to wonder what my mind is trying to accept.. I'm guessing this is part of the process of accepting a long term condition? anyway... thank you again.
