I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I was also diagnosed with spondylolisthesis at a young age. I had to have a fusion when I was 22. I waited until it got progressively worse and was not considered mild anymore. Unfortunately it does not get better. It would be a good idea to see a PM doc. They can advise you on ways to control the pain. Also, it would be helpful to limit activities that could aggravate, such as falling down, or too strenuous things.
