I have lived with svt for over 10 years, and told just 2 years ago what I have.....Finally ! Oh and afib. Other than those annoying issues in my life I do like boating, gardening, jeeping and anything outdoors with my family ♥
That was a year ago, how time flies! The PVCs slowed down right before the ablation was scheduled, so I cancelled it. They never went away fully, but the amount I get every day has dropped. Back in November I had a really bad bout of them that lasted for a few weeks, but then it calmed down again.
Lately I get a few every day, but not enough to make me go into panic mode. I really wanted to get the ablation. But at this point I don't think I get them often enough to make the procedure successful. Has your situation improved?
Just a quick note to say hi! I haven't seen you post lately about your cryo, so I hope all is well. You mentioned that you had been on 50 mg Atenolol prior to the cryo and were now on 25 mg. I'm on 50 mg and don't have the energy that I had prior to going on the BB. I'm hoping to go to 25 mg, but don't want to jeopardize the palps. Do you notice much change in your energy level since dropping to the 25 mg?
Just a quick note to say hi! with my decision on the meds. I just want to understand what was on my Holter and hoped that Epstein would have had it and could have read it while I was there. In a way it was a wasted trip. I know it sounds confusing, and it is. I feel like starting over at Mass General and acting dumb and saying, gee, I don't have any records, you will have to test me. This way nothing will get lost and I will get real answers. Still in limbo....I have been having CONSTANT pvc/pacs, one every other beat. Very discouraged....My cardio down here is good, but his office staff is terrible and the office is disorganized.
Just a quick note to say hi! an appointment with my regular cardiologist and asked him about the flecinade and my recent Holter. About the Holter - he couldn't find it, can you believe it???? I guess when the secretary went to fax it to Dr. Epstein, she misplaced it. Now the cardio has to order a new copy, review it, and then tell me what to do. Also, it has to be resent to Dr. Epstein. Of course I have to drive this whole process myself because no one seems to care. I was a little disappointed that Dr. Epstein wants to put me on flecinade, which I filled but did not take yet. My cardio doesn't think I should take it and wants to look at the Holter to see if there were pacs or pvcs and then he wants to tweak my meds. I will be back in touch with Dr. Epstein next week -
