hey im new to this cumunity just sayin hi to people HI
WOWOWOW! I surely hope and pray that somehow you are indeed able to remain Undetected that would truly be a miracle and would make everyone go crazy with joy! Any chance that they will let you back on the interferon and riba now? Just knowing you got RVR if you could get back on even with a weeks interruption it could be total and complete annihilation of the virus for good! God I hope that it stays away!!! That would be the BEST news in so LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep us updated - we ALL like to hear the good stories you know, life has too many bad as it is! Debby
PT 2 (ran out of room) As long as you are eating something with the meds it does help. Plus it seems to help greatly with any of the stomach discomfort problems that can crop up. If you have any other questions at all just PM me or send me a note and you know I'll do the best I can to explain it in nice old fashion english. The scientific stufff gets to be too much and I used to have my friends break it down so that I could REALLY understand it rather than guess!!!!!!
The theory that most of us "old timers" (Hah!!! I'm not THAT OLD!) have believed in is this...the riba works best when it has the ability to bind TO the fat instead of being eliminated straight out. There was a study done that had shown that you can build up a better serum level this way. Riba is crucial especially in the 1st 12 weeks...oftentimes this can lead to the hemolytic anemia which is dreadful BUt sort of a good sign as it means your body is getting the ultimate dosage it can handle. So........most of us took it with breakfast and dinner and at least a piece of peanut butter toast or something with natural fats so it could "stick" and not be flushed straight out. it gets hard to eat on tx and sometimes I could only manage a yogurt shake or some ice cream (even for breakfast).
