About Me: Female, 29, Lafayette, IN, member since Sep 2009
College drinking days are over. I gained over 20lbs in college and I'm getting that off and then some! My Goal is to lose 40 pounds in 20 weeks. Ideally, I want to be 140-145. Well, it's not a goal, it's a task. It will happen. I am determined more than ever. I want t
[More]o be fit, I want so much to be healty, and I want to be the best I can be. I am to going live up to my potential. Now look at me...I'm just approaching -30lbs!
I ran my first race ever on December 5, a 5K with a time of 30:30. I am now training for the mini-marathon in Indy May 2010. It's crazy because I used to hate running, now I am running 3 miles a day, while increasing that distance every few weeks. I started out on the elliptical, to running a mile on the tredmill, to now running 3 miles a day whether indoor or out. I can say now that I do enjoy it as it is bettering my health and yielding results. I should be up to 4 miles a day in January.
I am also a singer! Check me out on facebook under Alicia Kelly (Purdue), or visit my myspace music page at myspace.com/aliciajkelly Enjoy!
