BRIGirl- I have many of the same symptoms that you do and I have been diagnosed with "frozen shoulder". I think that I also have a pinched nerve in my neck causing even more pain. There isn't a whole lot that can be done other than wait it out which could take up to 2 years. The best thing to do is apply either warm moist heat or a cold pack to your neck and shoulder area. This does relieve some of the pain. You should also try taking anti-inflammatory meds such as advil or a generic anti inflammatory will do the same thing. I have just started acupuncture for this.I hope you feel better and I understand your pain. I am a 48 year old female and have been with the pain for 10 months now.
