Hi ihatesinusproblems
About the grapefruit seed extract, I was relating an incident about a guy who did a sinus flush for the first time, and he could smell the grapefruit seed extract that he had squirted up his nose a few months earlier. I don't know how that would come to be, but some people do get their ostia (nasal passage openings) reduced or even clogged by swelling, but it could also be in the case of that guy who used the extract, that it was a persistence of smell memory, which is another odd phenomenon. I do have to edit my journal in the coming month, and I will delete any reference to the extract. The Sinus Flush, to me, should only be done with pure saline, and only for a few weeks at the most if you have evidence of infection coming out of nose.
Hello, my sinus problems is similar to yours, after flushes, many, many people could smell the awful stench. I have been following your posts but there weren't none later. How are things going and any luck yet?
Just a quick note to say hi!
Here's something that came from the respiratory forum about that odor thing. The post from help_me_please about the yeast infection makes more sense that a bacterial sinus infection
