Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for the congrats and yes this was the first one. Hope you beta goes good on friday!! baby dust...
I hope it's a BFP for you! That's about (or close to)when I'll be expecting my BFP too on baby # 2...believe it or not, I'm more nervous this time around! I've jumped the gun and taken quite a few HPT's early this time and of course they're all neg, so I'm having a hard time convincing myself not to give up hope, that I just tested too early and should get a BFP when I test on time. I had a horrible uterine infection after my baby was born because they missed a bit of placental tissue after delivery and didn't catch it til 6 wks post-partum! I kept telling them how bad my belly hurt and they kept saying it was normal. I was like "Um excuse me, not normal! I passed 4 kidney stones while preg, people, I KNOW pain, and this is painful!" But the infection makes me worry about my fertility ...
Thank you for the kind words and for welcoming me on here. Today is just one of those hormonal days and I can't seem to snap out of it. I keep googling things for symptoms that I have been feeling since my IUI, and that's how I came across this forum. It's great to hear from someone who is the same as me - 40 too huh! You know, it is just a number, I just wish my ovaries and follies weren't this age sometimes. I'm trying to stay positive, but it has been an emotional roller coaster as you well know. But everything happens for a reason. I would love to talk with you more.
Three of the stones passed on their own, but 35 wks pregnant they went in to insert a stint and manually removed part of the stone, but I had to pass the rest of it on my own. They determined my stones were from the prenatal vitamins I was taking; I'm not even allowed to take tums, because my stones are calcium stones! Some women get them a lot when they're pregnant, and if you have a history you MIGHT, but the good news are they're still treatable when you're pregnant. Just something to watch you for if you have a history :). Are you expecting now?
