I was still a mess 4 weeks post op don't know how you are doing it.
I had my one month post op on March 1st, he said all looked great, was healing just right etc, I told him that I still could barely do everyday things like give my kids a shower and couldn't think about work yet, he was right about one thing, he said once I hit close to the six week mark post surgery I would see a big improvement, at about 51/2 weeks post op I finally started to feel like myself again, I am able now to give kids a shower and do most everyday things around the house. Take care and get some rest.
Hi, how are you?
I have no choice but rest, I'm so tired all the time, today I took a two hour nap, I don't know how you do it. I just started cooking last week and doing some light household chores and after doing them I crash. How long post op did you go back to work? If you're just past 6 weeks sounds like you went back real early. I saw my NS on Monday and told him that I couldn't possibly chase little preschoolers full time in two weeks when I can't barely take care of my own two children, he said that when I reach the six week mark I should start feeling alot better and also alot of my energy would be back, I hope so. This surgery took alot out of me. Anyway, I have my second post up on March 29th and hopefully will feel well enough by then to go back to work the followi
Hi there,
I'm sick and tired myself of feeling sick and tired, last two days feeling a little faint and surgery site very sore. Yesterday I decided to tackle this corner of my living room that was driving me nuts, it's the kids toy corner and it was so bad, no heavy lifting just alot of bending down and I got very faint after a while, i ran for the couch to put my feet up, when the hearing started to faint out i knew i better lie down fast or i was going down.
I need a few weeks more off, just enough ttime for energy level to get better, I figure once I can take care of my own kids without falling apart I should be able to work.
Take care,
Alex
