neurosurgeons come in 3 types, #1. The type that thinks you should always and only keep allegiance to your original DR, they don't like you "shopping around" to make sure you are comfortable with the decision of that first DR. #2. The type that don't give a hoot about who you went to before, they look at you as a clean slate to work on, they welcome the opportunity to try to help & #3. The type that found a money niche and will do more than you really need to make more money, and by doing more than you need, maybe you will never have a complaint since they are treating anything possible from the start.
I found DR. Heffez in WI. & DR. Bejjani in PA to be #2 :) Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic #1, and The Chiari Institue in NY a #3. But those are my impressions. I work from my gut
