I've very sorry to hear of your loss. We never found out why we lost our pregnancy; the doctor said that if the twins were identical there is lower survival rate. Also I was 37, and this was a first pregnancy. I had a routine chest x-ray early on, and I always wondered if that contributed. I don't know what PCOS is, so I probably didn't have it -- I was only prescribed progesterone. However, four months after the termination I became pregnant without medical intervention, and I now have a gorgeous, healthy son of 8 mos. Apparently fertility is much higher after a loss. We were advised to wait and grieve, but I'm really glad we started trying again shortly afterward. Be prepared for it all to hit you again on the anniversary a year later. I hope that helps -- feel free to stay in touch.
I don't have pcos so I'm not sure my story would be of much help and not sure if you are asking regarding my first pregnancy or my second. 1st water was leaking at 17 weeks found ou baby had platu's syndrome and would not survivie and had to termicnate at 19 weeks. 2nd pregnancy my water leaked at 26 weeks (but replenished itself) had a short cervix and had to remain on bedrest for 10 weeks. Not sure what caused it or if it will happen again if i get pregnant
