About Me: Male, 43, Colfax, IA, member since Dec 2009
I am a 38 yr old female, with 2 daughters (1 is 16 yrs old & the other is 9 yrs old), I am married, my Handicapped brother lives with us, and my mom moved in about a month ago. I have had a lot of my medical problems since I was hit by a drunk driver 16 yrs ago, and my
[More] doctor's just kept giving me narcotic's. Obviously, I got addicted to them, and put my self in patient at a ************** facility 1-1-08. I am narcotic free today, and it is not an option to take any of them, no matter what. I had a laser surgery to fix a hiatal hernia 16 yrs ago, and was told a few months back that my hernia is coming back, and I now have 4 bleeding ulcer's. This complicates thing's, because the only thing to release the muscle tension headaches is the very thing my doctor told me I could not take anymore (IBUPROFEN). I have had a lot of stress in my life in the last 2 years, but we are getting through them. I have had 2 TIA stroke's in the past year, and lost my job as a banking center manager in Iowa. My 16 yr old daughter was diagnosed with bi polar this past march, and is on 3 different bi polar medication's. My husband had a head injury 5-1-05, and spent 3 months in the hospital in and out of coma's. I have been treated for depression since I was a teenager, and have been on medication's, right now I'm on 90 mg of Cymbalta. I was diagnosed 3 week's ago as a "HypoMania", and put on 300MG XR of Seroquil. My brother has bi polar, and to some degree so does my mom, and the blood lines further back too. I have also just been diagnosed with high blood pressure and take Lisiniprol.
