Diagnosed 6 years ago with MS there have been many changes, battles - pain far in the lead,
I take very little medications anymore. I am not sure if I am the wiser for i
[More]t but still believe less is better than more. Medication choices are difficult ones. I know I will never survive without something for pain this I have accepted. Pain medications are a learn as you go, what works, what doesn't, what helps some but not enough to continue with it, and what dosage works the best of any choice(s).
Then aside from the medications how best you can manage your pain outside of medications. The former is the method I am usiing and leaning toward the most. Do I feel I am successful. Sometimes I do other times I feel I am too stubborn to make necessary compromises and add more medications.
My story in short. I fight the same battles with fatigue and retaining as much mobility as this disease will allow as all do at each of our individual levels.
Just a quick note to see how you are doing. Do you still post on here? I'm back one more time; trying to finally get myself into a better life situation. Please let me know if you have any helpful ideas that get you through the hard parts?
