I am 27 years young and live in the beautiful pacific northwest. I suffer from chronic pain and I found out I have Osteoarthritis and have had degenerative changes since I was 19. I got a referral for MRI's and that is when I was found to have a dilated central canal (t
[More]iny Syrinx)and narrowing of my cervical spine from C-3 -T-1, also where the Syrinx is located. Bone spur complex contacting cord at C3-4. Tarlov cyst found at S-2, Moderate DDD at multiple levels with Facet joint disease in many places in the spine. Very mild scoliosis and kyphosis, reversal of cervical lordosis. I also have IBS, acid reflux, chronic Gastritis, Dysmenorrhea , TMJ, and Im sure I am forgetting something.
Grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Just a quick note to say hi! How are u?...Thanks for asking about me, I had my DD and SIL in for the weekend so I was not on at all....lol...I have been pretty good, but yesterday I actually had vertigo for the first time since my surgery,...so I am wondering if I am getting closer to needing my other surgery...ugh
How r u doing?
go to the university of washington medical center in Seattle. they have the oral medicine department there. You will get really good care there. Call them and ask to speak to the oral medicine department..make sure you say oral medicine because they also have a dental clinic but its not the same thing as the oral medicine department. Wonderful group of people there that will help you. If I can help anyone else avoid the 3 year long journey it took to find help then I am glad to do it. Good luck to you. Give them a call.
I'm good! I got my results and the mass on my pancreas ended up being a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor or sometimes called a carcinoid. I guess it's an extremely slow growing cancer and sometimes people live their whole lives with these tumors and are ok. I'm not super worried anymore. Gotta have surgery though! boooo
