Just a quick note to say hi! That was a very intelligent reply! Surg & implants are last thing we need even if our corrected vision is 20/40 or 20/50. I'm 60 and have -11 implants - but only after cataract surgery and are still left with -5 glasses (orig goal was -1, but us high myopes always get worse!) I then had retina scars and had scrape which leaves me with "missing pixels" despite reading 20/30 correc on chart. And I go to best clinic Bascom-Palmer, Miami. Do nothing, not even cont, if your vision is managable, certainly no unnec implants, lasik. How high your -? Anyway, in todays world, I have seen more women & men wearing -15 above and bowl glasses proudly! with new small styles and thin lenses, u only rec them because you are one too! If you have any ques, ask.Ciao, Marsh
