Thanks for your reply. I've never noticed a patern for my headaches really but I will have to keep an eye on it to see if maybe it could be weather related like you said. I actually seen a neurologist yesterday. He scheduled an mri and give me a perscritption to topamax. Which caused me to wake up feeling like someone was playing soccor with my head. Now I have to wait to find something out. Thanks for your answer.
I've seen some of your posts about wind and pressure as triggers for migraines. I have noticed several correlations with weather patterns and my migraines. My auras changed about a year and a half ago. I now have "seizure like" activity, I just spent 5 days in the hospital making sure it wasn't epileptic. Now that I know it's all migraine I'm desperate to find my triggers, I can have these 3 times a day to 1 every 2 weeks. Can you tell me what type of weather patterns do you look for? Fronts, pressure or temp changes? Where do you find accurate info on weather statitics?
Thanks, Lisa
Very curious if you have found any more info. about EMF's and migraine. I never had them until we moved to a home nearly 7 years ago with a large square green transformer in the front yard. We are moving out of the house so I pray they will diminish some. Heather
Hi Eddie,
Thank you for your note. Sorry it took me so long to reply. So much has changed since I posted by in 2008. I've been diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraines (HM). I found that gluten was a major contributor as well as many, many other foods each of which I've eliminated from my diet. I'm extremely sensitive to light, sounds, smells, chaos or commotion, more than one person talking at one time, movement, etc.
In case you are unaware, HM is a rare form of migraine that causes weakness or paralysis on one side of the body, confusion to coma, and so much more.
How is your wife doing?
