Hi
Would like to know how your kid is doing. My 4 month old boy has just been diagnosed with orbital lymphangioma in his right eye and I feel absolutely helpless.
Hi.
I was wondering if you have had any help to treat your son. My 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with orbital lymphangioma last year, she had many operations on her eye which didn't make the lymphangioma better but alot worse, she had to have part of her eyelids stitched together to hold her eye in the socket, and because of the pressure on the optic nerve she has loss her sight in that eye. However a concerned friend gave me some information which led to being referred to a hospital which could help with this disease, which involves injections and NOT operations. It makes the lymphangioma decrease in size. It as just been over a year and she as had no more growth, and is looking great. If you w ould like some more information please get in touch.
Hello my name is Sara. I live in Oregon and I was wondering how your son is doing? My daughter is 4 with Lymphangioma in her left eye since about birth. It wasn't discovered until Aug of 2008 when her eye swelled so much it looked as if it were about to fall out. Since then she has had episiodes of black eyes and this swelling. It seems to happen mostly when she is ill with a cold or so. I haven't met anyone else who has this similar thing. . Doctors say they don't know enough about lymphangioma to tell me how to get the swelling to go down or preventing it. They told me surgery is an apsolute last option since it could make her lose her eye or she may bleed to death because of blood vessels behind the eye. Anyways my email is ***@****. Please write me.
