About Me: Female, Seattle, WA, member since Mar 2010
I am 30 years old and have a few very odd diagnoses that I have been dealing with my whole life but only found out what they were over the past few years. First I had my gallbladder removed for no good reason other than I had been have excruciating abdominal pains since
[More] I was 12 and every other test you could possible imagine came back normal including the gallbladder u/s. Since the surgery, I haven't had a single twinge of pain! Next up I have chiari malformation. That explained SOOOOO much. So many symptoms that I can track back to my childhood are most likely d/t to that. And last but not least I have narcolpesy and I take drugs at night to help me sleep "properly" and drugs during the day to keep me from falling asleep. And I love this place! I have found so many people here that have been thru or are going thru the same things. It's nice to know we're not alone... or crazy!
I just now looked at my notes and saw your from July 17th! I am sorry- I didn't see it, I am not some jerk that doesn't acknowledge people LOL - thank you for your note and yes, slowly getting better- you know how it is!
