I have just turned 50 yrs old recently. I have been happily married for 30 yrs this year. We have a 20 yr old son and a 12 yr old daughter. My son was diagnosed epileptic at 2, then adhd at 6, dyslexic with learning disabilities, and finally at age 12 as having Asperger
[More]'s Syndrome which is a high functioning form of autism. Our daughter was born with Down Syndrome. I have had neurologic problems since 12, diagnosed with migraines caused by vascular malfunction,b12 deficient causing ms, and am hopefuly next week to finally get the FINAL diagnosis. i am extremely limiited mobility wise, balance issues, leaking fluid out of my ears, excessive sweat has turned to oil, having problems swallowing, unbeatable infections etc, etc, etc. i am so done with this and yet my husband stands by me with more love than you could ever realize is possible. my brother has been fighting infections almost identical to mine these last 5 years and is now having cns involvement. my son cannot fight infections either - i think they call it hypersensitivity. as well he is having increasing difficulty managing anger. we are all so tired and i am eternally grateful for finding this website/forum. in the short time i have been on here i have "met" some wonderful people that go out of their way to help you - amazing. when i first met my neuro he had told me to watch "lorenzo's oill" and it is funny but until these latest difficulties have not connected my health to the movie until recently. when i go into adl sites and it talks about behaviour changes it is my son all over.
