Just a quick note to say hi! My daughters baby was born at 28 weeks on Christmas eve she was breathing on her own without ventilation that evening , she is now 3 weeks past and doing real well ,she weighed 2lb 6 ozs at birth ,lost a good bit of weight but now weighs 2lb 10 ozs ,she is beautiful and getting bigger and stronger each day.

i had a baby born at 28 weeks and 1 day she was born on the second of august this year and she is doing good, she is breathing on her own dont get me wrong having problems with her feeding but it all seems to be getting under controll now, but as the midwife keeps saying she is 12 weeks early and her wee tummy shouldnt be dealing with milk, and the best thing i have done for her is express milk, thanks

was just flicking thro and read your dilemea. i am also 28 week but luckly have no problems but just thought it might help to hear my best frend had twin boys delivered by suprise at 30 weeks one waighing 2lb 2 one a little bigger at 2lb 4 , they were very sick at first but 3 yrs on they are fit and well and a hand full so dont panic to much if 2 can make i one can x hope this helps x
