I just read your comment and I saw you didn't have insurance. I don't either so I applied for medicaid and was turned down but was aproved for a type called "share of cost medicaid" that paid all medical bills in that month if you went over a certain amount in medical bills for the same month. The amount is based on your income. My amount was around $2,000. It doesn't help with doctor's visits but can definately help to get a procedure done when you need it. I don't know if your state has this but try to find out because I would not be able to get the surgery I need without it. I hope this helps. God bless.
Just a quick note to say hi! No, I don't have to take any meds except Zocor for high cholesterol and Mobic for arthritis in my knees. I have had a pretty uneventful life as far as illnesses go. I am blessed.
