About Me: Female, 48, Ottawa, ON, member since Apr 2010
Hi. I've been "sick" for about 5 years. After several years and many tests I finally got a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. About a year later I started having pain and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
I also have thyroid nodules and enlarged lymph nodes although my thyroid hormone levels are normal. No treatment yet, just being watched by an endocrinologist..having ultrasounds annually. One nodule has grown consistently.
My weight has gone up and up and up. Before I was sick I used to run every day. Now I am almost completely sedentary. I started walking every day about a week ago but it's a real struggle to get out the door.
I look forward to finding more information about my medical issues. Maybe get some advice or just some reassurance.
