Have you resolved your problem? i have exactly the same. i found a gp who did a blood test for Alpha 1-antitrypsan deficiency. this causes genetic emphasyema. it is not a good diagnosis but i am trying to get into a lung specialist to follow up. good luck.
I know that you wrote a while about in 2006 about having shortness of breath. I also started being sick in 2006-2007. I have mitral valve prolapse (heart condition) where a valve does not close properly. My symptoms are very much like yours. I only get relief afer falling asleep on my stomach. Are you better now? if so, how did you get better? I am still having extreme shortness of breath. and now recently with chest pains and palpitations too.
thank you for your help
