Yes, Ava just got her 1st round of vacines last Thursday. I do know there are risks that come with getting them, but for me the benefits outweigh the risks right now. So many parents are choosing to NOT vacinate (which is fine for those parents), but I think eventually that the "herd" will not be big enough to depend on others to be vacinated. Also, we tend 2 travel more now as time progresses &each region has their own standards on vacinations.
Also,I did choose 2 have the pertusis vacine myself. My sister's baby got whooping cough &was hospitalized for about 2 weeks and still has breathing problems from it. For me it was just safer for me to get the vacine.
Have u decided on 2get your son vacinated or not? U sound on the fence about it.It's your choice & it's great 2 be informed on it!
