Just a quick note to say hi! Thinking of you, Ally. Still don't get here much. Saw your question about conversion problems. That's beyond what they address with us in nursing school. The longer I'm a nurse, the more I realize that the patients are the real experts, so as long as you have solid science behind you, don't be afraid to talk to the docs. If they are hesitant to adjust things according to your suggestions, explain your reasoning fully to them and ask them straight-out the question you posed in your post: "Why?" That way, they can either refute the information you've been given OR you can enlighten them! I do hope you get the right balance soon!
