About Me: Female, 52, Venice, FL, member since May 2010
I am 47 and was on Zyprexa for 15 years after doctors prescribed many other anxiety/depression medications that hadn't worked. I was happy and had just gotten married when a friend told me it was for schizophrenics (which I wasn't) and that it just wasn't normal to be
[More] so happy ALL the time and not show emotion or cry at sad movies. After researching, people convinced me it was bad so I went off of it cold turkey about a year ago and almost flipped my lid pacing all day and night so then I really thought I had a terrible addiction. Things have been going downhill since...I cry alot and can barely get out of bed and function. I quit smoking 6 weeks ago and am going through menopause. I tried living without addictions but feel if I don't get help I will lose my career and my marriage. Unsure whether I should go on Zyprexa again or hormone replacement. I also have spurs on my neck joint and my constant neck pain from discs popping in and out is unbearable. Wonder if it is worse due to stress.
