About Me: Female, 50, Porterville, CA, member since May 2010
I am 48 yrs old and have several medical issues. First and foremost, is that I have been diagnosed with Loeys Dietz Syndrome which is a Aneurysm Syndrome/Connective tissue disorder. I have had open heart surgery in 2006 in order to place a dacron graft around my aorta
[More] to stop the growth of an aneurysm. I have also been diagnosed with Loeys Dietz Syndrome (Connnective Tissue Disorder), similar to Marfan Syndrome, Advanced Degenerative Disc Disease, Fibromyalgia, Depression, Anxiety, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis and had a Thyroidectomy due to Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I have had more surgeries then I can count. I think each one takes more of a toll on my body.
Enough about my medical issues. I am married with 3 beautiful children. I have 3 dogs, 1 cats, and 4 fish.
Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks so much for your info. We just recently found out that they did not get all the cancer and she is going to have to have another biopsy, an additional MRI or CAT scan and then probably another surgery.
