Hey, good to hear from you,
I am glad that you will try it. I have lost so much weight this summer using that tool. If you need help, just let me know. For now I would set up a free account and try it for a few days, that way you learn where you might be going wrong or how to increase your loss week to week. I wish you luck and keep in touch! - Pep
Hi NirajaA, I just looked at your weight chart and wanted to congratulate you on your weight loss so far. I am using the My Plate function on www.livestrong.com (Lance Armstrong's website) and tracking all my food intake and weight. It has worked wonders for me in the last two months - lost 23 pounds so far with the help of this website. Just wanted to share it with you, give it a try....you have nothing to lose but pounds! Good luck to you and keep up the good work! -Pep
Wow congrats! I went down to 178 and was SO excited, then things went wrong and I lost track and ate the wrong things. I'm back down to 180 (was at 183) and will try to keep the focus. I did the same thing with my carbs, I love breads way too much.
What is really helping me is a site called caloriecount.com. It is a calorie/activity/weight tracker, and its really awesome. You can put in the foods you eat, then click "Analysis" and see how your food adds up. I felt i was eatting great, but was going nowhere, when i realized my food choices were the wrong ones. This will help you balance out the fats, protein, and carbs you SHOULD be eating, without over doing it. I also found I ate way too much sodium. Since using this, I have felt better, and my body is less swollen from all the sodium. It's still hard for me to give up my favorite foods, so I'm working to balance eating right and having a few cheater meals to help me have a break. I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.
