Just a quick note to say hi! How is your treatment going? I had to take a break from abx to give my kidneys a rest. After a month of substitute herbals, we'll retest and see how they're doing. I hope you're feeling better these days!
There's a young man on the Lyme forum looking for an LLMD near Philly. Do you have any suggestions for him?
Hi. Thx for your note. As Dr. Burrascano says, I have a "preponderance of neurologic symptoms", and like Dr. Virginia T. Sherr says, "Bartonellosis has been found capable of causing severe gastrointestinal pain and malfunction." Not fun at all. Isn't it strange how "Cat Scratch Disease" was always considered minor, but when it's tick borne with Lyme, it's nasty! My gut has healed quite a bit, and my anxiety is pretty much gone, so I think the Bartonella is just about kicked.
Hello! I, too have Lyme and Bartonella. I've just seen a big enough decrease in my stomach pain to be able to walk more than a couple hundred feet. I've had my diagnosis and been on abx for 3 months now. My worst symptoms have been GI issues & shortness of breath (10th nerve infection?), rib pain, and neuro/cognitive issues. I have between 40 and 80 symptoms, depending on how detailed the list is. I went through 12 doctors, 2 negative tests, 2 er visits, 1 hospitalization in 16 months of steady decline before I figured it out for myself. Thank God for IGeneX and my LLMD!
