About Me: Female, 71, Englewood, NJ, member since Jun 2010
I've had a total knee replacement in August 2007. I developed MRSA and have had multiple (5) surgeries to clean out the wound and eradicate the chronic infection without success so far. I've been on various narcotic medications for the pain. I also seem to suffer from
[More] Fibromyalgia which has not been diagnosed but I have all of the symptoms. Since I've been on these narcotics for 3-5 years, I 'm very concerned about addiction and the process of drug withdrawal after the final(?) total knee replacement which I will undergo very soon.
sorry about what you are going through with your house.. we almost had to file for bankruptcy at the end of this year as my hubby has been out on a medical leave for 2 years but things are starting to turn around. I hope everything works out for you so you stay in your home.. my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 2 months ago. they will not do surgery and she just had her port put in 3 weeks ago yep for chemo.. she is fighting to live for a lil more time as that is all they can offer her.. her faith is strong and this had been a very big comfort to her..
