I too have diastasis recti, I look 9 months pregnant & hate it, I had one doctor that told me to get over it because it was part of growing old. How rude is that? I have had this prob for 13 years & have been to numerous doctors, finally, I found a great GYN that told me it was diastasis but insurance will only cover diastasis not removal of excess skin. Along w/diastasis I have prob w/a lot of excess skin and issue w/constipation. I found a very good PS that can do both, but will cost about $7,000 which, unfortunately I do not have. So, I deal w/this day by day. I exercise, I have lost 40lbs but look 9 months preg. I wish you the best.
