End of October 2011 I went to my Rheumatolgist, I have not been there since 2009, we talked and I told my DR that I had found out last year that I had Hepatitis C. The Dr looked over some of my old labs that had been faxed to her and she pulled out a lab from Quest stating that in 2006 I was tested for HCV and was at that time negative for the virus, so some time between 2006 and 2010 I somehow got this virus, I was glad to know that I have not had it for 20-30 years, it now explains my low viral load, but I still have the virus and still don't know how I got it. At least I can now wait for the new orals to treat.
