bed rest
inflammation
dehydration
trauma (physical impact)
do you have general swelling in the legs, or only in the veins themselves?
Hi, did you get checked out? With your symptoms, they might do an immediate ultrasound. The D-dmer test is quickest and cheapest. The the ultrasound, then a venogram, where they inject a substance into the leg and see how that shows up on x-ray.
