Thank you for answering impartially and not taking sides..I actually wasn't trying to get into a fight I just didn't want that girl to be scared for no reason, you know? I feel awful that it escalated to the point that it did but I really feel strongly about women getting proper information about pain management during pregnancy...you're right, being in pain actually IS worse for the baby. stress hormones = dangerous for a growing fetus. narcotics = sleepy baby, but not much else. neither of my babies came out screwed up...that hurt so much. anyway, thank you for being the voice of reason I think that the original poster needed a calm response like yours.
