About Me: Female, 45, Blue Springs, MO, member since Oct 2010
Hi, my name is Beth and I had a baby May 7th 2009 and she was 1 pound 13 ounces. It was the scariest time in my life and none of us were sure she was going to make it through. After several months of being in the level one NICU unit at the hospital she was finally mov
[More]ed back closer to home so that I could see her everyday .Because of my depression, that I've had all my life and pain that I have on a daily basis, it has been difficult. She made it through and is currently a busy 17 month old little girl. I currently have post partum depression and have degenerative disc disease, several bulging discs in my back, and also have a hernia. The chronic back pain hurts daily and the post partum is always here. I'm married and my husband is supportive but doesn't understand all that I'm going through and the support that I need. I'm hoping to join this group as a way to have support for my depression and my pain that I go through on a daily basis.
