Hi there,
I thought I might be able to help. I too have had the exact same symptoms. I went to my family Dr. He did blood work and a ct scan all negative. He sent me to a neurologist; he is doing a closed MRI with the dye on Monday. He told me the electrical jolts and the buzzing is actually blood flow from small blood clots that are bursting in my head. It's not too uncommon in woman around mid 40 and up. It's caused from the hormone changes due to menopause. It's called Menopausal migraines and can be treated. He's doing the MRI to rule out an aneurysm that could have created from the clots. You need to see a neurologist and talk with them.
