i got my band about 1 1/2 years ago, and its been hell! no matter how much or little is in the band the food gets stuck and the only way i can get rid of it is chuck, oh were you told about the pain, or only that you need to chew till its mush? i wasnt told so the first time i had pain, i thought i was having a heart attack and was close to calling the ambos only i had to run upstains and chuck, my first intoduction to the world of it gets stuck!
i decided last week after 3 weeks of depression, and hiding away from my parents, that i would get the fluid and the band out, so got the fluid out, next day nausea, constant ache to the band area! had a gastroscope and a swallow of course all normal, so now its time to get it out!
anyway let me know whats up
You deserve a big bear hug!
i understand, when i got my band in hobart, i asked about suport, and "its all on the net" and nutrition " everyones different so we dont offer" living by myself and not knowing anyone else to talk to, not fun!!!
ive since moved back to ocean grove, near geelong, and sadly turing 30 and moving in with my parents!!! but their idea to help save for a house and work in geelong, im a nurse.
so of course see a new guy here, no support, the girls at work are more supportivd of me, my parents are pretty good, ive even got them to reduce their portion sizes, well by a smidge, and have more salad!
so as for support, ive had none, no i take that back, not the support that we need for our everyday "issues".
