About Me: Female, 29, Brooklyn, NY, member since Nov 2010
A few months ago my husband and I lost our second baby 11 weeks into the pregnancy. It was a very hard time for the both of us and to make it worse recovery was no better. I decided not to have a D&C due to personal concerns and because I was able to recover naturally w
[More]ith my first loss and I thought I didn't need it. Needles to say it was a bad choice because I bled lightly for 2 months straight, this called for countless appointments and ultrasounds and the whole process was one big headache. In the end my body took care of itself (eventually) and everything is back to normal now. As for the emotional part, my husband and I would love to try again as soon as possible but I'm feeling nervous, scared, worried to go through another miscarriage again. My hope is to be a mother one day but I also hope my nerves don't get the best of me throughout my pregnancy not allowing me to enjoy the experience. In any case, my husband and I are crossing our fingers and hoping to be expecting again soon and this time bring a healthy baby home.
