Oh my gosh! I am so glad to have finally found someone that can relate to my pain almost exactly! I have the same thing in the left side of my head. I am in the Poughkeepsie area and my doc gave me a name to contact in the city yesterday! I want to share that with you. Please write me back and we'll see if we can find a confidential way to talk. My pain is during the day, but otherwise, exactly as you describe! I have been fighting this for 3 1/2 years and have basically lost most of that time because of the misery. It's the worst pain I've ever felt and doc after doc has told me I'm crazy! Until I found my recent wonderful one! I knew I wasn't crazy and that it wasn't stress. I hope we can both finally get some relief. No pain meds have helped me one bit!
