I am married to the love of my life and the greatest man I have ever known.
I was recently discharged from the Air Force due to Ulcerative Colitis and the CMV virus. I now have a temporary ileostomy. It's still very new to me so I love to talk about it. I'm very grateful to have a husband who understands and has stuck by my side through this illness despite the lack of a sex life and the fact that I'm still recovering and cannot do diddly squat.
I do not have any children but hope to some day and I also plan to get my degree in mental health and hopefully help people who are in the same situation as me.
Just a quick note to say hi! Thank you so much for your most thoughtful post. I am feeling very exhausted and confused right now. But I so appreciate the time you took to thoughtfully respond to me. :)
