About Me: Female, 67, Philadelphia, PA, member since Jan 2011
I am a mature woman in fairly good health. I exercise four times weekly for at least 2-3 hours at a gym. This has been consistent throughout my life. However, I had my thyroid removed Sept. 30 2010 due to nodules, and body metabolism being off. Since that time, I have
[More] not been feeling as well as before the surgery. During the surgery, it was found that I had two small cancers, less than 0.1 cm. I did not have to have any further treatment. After surgery, I was put on 88 mcg Levothyroxine. Did not feel well on this. Endocrinologist changed my Levo 88 mcg to 100 mcg. I was only on this for two weeks, because it caused heart pounding. I am now on Synthroid 88 mcg. Only been on for one and a half weeks.
