About Me: Female, 35, Monticello, KY, member since Jan 2011
I am originally from Indiana. I moved to Kentucky in November for many reasons. One being that my grandparents moved back here a couplr years ago and I wanted to go back to school , but in Indiana, I didn't have daycare opportunities to do do. I have been diagnoesed w
[More]ith Chronic anxiety 11 years ago. I was treated with many different medications, most being anti-depressant/anti- anxiety meds.. These worked in reverse for me. Making me more anxious and extremely angry. I have always been a person who feels that they cannot complete every task that i need to accomplish in a day. My mind is on several different things, while I may start one and begin another, typically only completing a couple tasks out of a list of 7, at tthe minimum. I have been this way for years. Approximately three years ago, I was diagnosed ADHD, again was given differnt medications for treatment, such as Concerta, Riltilan, and finally adderall. Adderrall, works the best for me, however juggling a full school schedule, two boys as a single parent, i am still struggling to focus. When I do homework, I will do complete it, revise it, and revise it again, in hopes that I have caught every mistake. I have been on Klonopin 2 mg 3x a day for 11 years and The Adderall 20 mg 2x a day for 3 yrs. I cannot seem to find a doctor who doesn't think these are Psych medications. In Indiana, they are not.. regardless, I am running low and need to see a doctor immediately to get a refill on both. I have made an appt with a Psychiratrist in Somersert, KY, but I can't get in before March 24th. If someone could guide me in the right direction of a Physician to see or Psychatrist that can see me within the nest week to get my medications, I would appeciate it..
