Hi there! My husband has been suffering from the exact same symptoms you described leading up to your surgery, was sent for the MRI and advised that he needed to have surgery asap. This particular surgeon he was referred to specified fusion. We have been doing on-line research and feel like disk replacement surgery is definitely the way to go.. I found this site and read your message to my husband who said "sounds just like me"! and we were very comforted by your recovery you described thus far. I was wondering if you could please tell us the material/brand of the replacement disk material that was used in your surgery? Was your surgery by any chance covered at all by insurance? (We have a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO) Thank you in advance for your time! ***@****
