[More]le MS because though my LP was positive, my MRI showed one lesion and that was my 1st excerbation. I did not start any meds. For the next 14 yrs I experience very little MS symptons (that I recognized). I had mild numbing in my legs & some tingling, but nothing major (like I experienced in '97). As far as I was concerned I did not have MS. Well in mid-Feb my symptons began to intensify & i even had new symptons so I went to see my neuro. He fussed at me b/c I had not seen him since '05 (LOL) and ran new tests which showed new lesions :(. I have been on Rebif since last month and am not liking it all, but adjusting.
Other than my life w/ MS I'm married with 2 sons: 23 & 15. I love cooking, entertaining, traveling, and most of spending quaility with my family & friends. I'm happiest when I'm laughing & talking with my family. I am a christian and LOVE worshipping the Lord. To God Be the Glory!
This MS thang *****, but it is apart of my life. I have MS, but MS does not have me :)
I apperciate this site b/c having a disease that is not visible to others does have it challenges. It makes it sooooo much harder for others to understand, but having a site where you know the people you are talking too KNOW what you're feeling (literally) makes a huge difference. Thanks to all of you!
